The Globe Theatre, October 2008
Perhaps the most iconic thatched building in existence today, and the only thatched building in central London since the Great Fire of 1666! In October 2008 Kit Davis and Phil Campbell were awarded the contract of repairing the roof area over the stage and reridging the entire circumference of Shakespeare's Globe.
Due to the iconic status of the building, the spectacular view of the St Paul’s, and the London skyline, and some good weather, the work received journalistic interest from around the world.
